When can I remove the bandage?

Follow your artist’s instructions. Generally: Traditional wrap: Remove after 2–4 hours Second skin / adhesive bandage: Leave on 3–5 days Always wash your hands before touching your tattoo.

How should I wash my new tattoo?

Use lukewarm water Use a mild, fragrance-free soap Gently wash with clean hands (not a washcloth) Pat dry with a clean paper towel Let air dry completely before applying ointment Do this 2–3 times daily.

What should I apply to my tattoo?

Use a thin layer of: Tattoo aftercare balm Fragrance-free lotion Herbal healing salve (if recommended) Do not over-apply. Your skin needs to breathe — too much product can clog pores and slow healing.

Is peeling and itching normal?

Can I swim with a new tattoo?

Can I work out after getting a tattoo?

When can I go in the sun?

What are signs of infection?

When is my tattoo fully healed?

When I first started creating Madam T’s Apothecary & Jewels, I knew I wanted it to be more than just a shop. I wanted it to become a space where herbal wellness, creativity, artistry, and intention could all exist together in one place. Every product I create comes from a genuine love for handcrafted work and a belief that the things we surround ourselves with should feel meaningful.

My journey started with a passion for natural wellness and creating products that I personally wanted to use in my own life. Over time, that passion grew into handcrafted herbal remedies, artisan jewelry, ritual perfumes, resin art, and gothic-inspired creations that reflect both healing and artistic expression.

Whether I’m blending herbs for a salve, designing a jewelry piece, or creating resin decor, I put intention into every step of the process. I work in small batches because quality matters to me. One of the things most important to me is using ingredients and materials that align with the natural and holistic approach I believe in.
